Consented school-life media, intended for respectful viewing.

Classfolio is an independently operated school-life archive. It is publicly viewable on the internet, but it is not an official school system or school publication. The archive is maintained by the site owner and uses participant consent records to determine what may be published.

1. Consent and publication

Every published image and video is reviewed with the people shown before publication. Participants are informed about the archive, its public availability, and the intended use of their media. Consent records are retained privately by the site owner and are not displayed in the public archive.

2. Participant rights

Any participant shown in a published item may request that the media be hidden, deleted, or removed through consent revocation at any time. Requests may be submitted through the participant account console or directly to the site owner. An approved hiding request keeps the media linked privately; an approved deletion or consent-revocation request removes the complete affected image or video for everyone shown in it.

3. Respectful use

Visitors may view Classfolio media through the website. Do not download, copy, record, redistribute, edit, transform, impersonate, harass, embarrass, or use any image or video to create misleading, harmful, inappropriate, or defamatory material.

4. Visitor responsibility

If you save, record, redistribute, edit, or misuse Classfolio media, you are responsible for the consequences of that action. The site owner is not responsible for damage, loss, disciplinary action, legal consequences, or reputational harm resulting from a visitor’s use or misuse of the media.

5. Accuracy and availability

Dates, descriptions, tags, search results, and other details may contain errors. Classfolio may be changed, paused, or taken offline. The site owner may correct, hide, or remove any item when appropriate, including when consent or school guidance changes.

6. AI-assisted content

Some wording, code, organization, and other material on this site was created or revised with artificial intelligence assistance. AI-assisted material may contain errors or omissions and should be evaluated independently.

7. Participant accounts and credentials

Participant accounts are personal and may be used only by the participant to whom the credentials were issued. Participants must keep their sign-in email and password confidential and must not share, lend, publish, or permit another person to use their account. If a participant shares credentials or otherwise allows access, the participant accepts responsibility for activity carried out through that account, including anyone viewing, saving, recording, redistributing, editing, transforming, impersonating, harassing, embarrassing, or misusing Classfolio media.

Participants acknowledge that every person who accesses Classfolio is warned not to “download, copy, record, redistribute, edit, transform, impersonate, harass, embarrass, or use any image or video to create misleading, harmful, inappropriate, or defamatory material.” If someone exposes, shares, or misuses hidden or private media after receiving access through a participant’s shared credentials, that conduct is the responsibility of the person who shared or misused the credentials, not the site owner, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Agreement to these terms

By selecting “Agree and Continue” in the viewing notice, signing in to a participant account, or continuing to access Classfolio, you confirm that you understand this disclaimer, accept the responsible-use requirements, agree to respect the people represented in the archive, and understand the participant credential responsibilities above. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, participants waive claims against the site owner for consequences caused by their own credential sharing or by another person’s violation of these viewing requirements. This does not remove any right or responsibility that cannot legally be waived. If you do not agree, leave the archive.

This page describes the intended operation of Classfolio. It does not replace applicable law, school policy, or a specific consent document.
